Code Hunt Challenge

In cooperation with Microsoft Research, Codess brings you the ultimate challenge: write effective and elegant code, in real-time, in competition with hundreds of other women student programmers.

In the Codess Code Hunt Challenge, you'll be shown a snippet of code, and you'll have to rewrite it to produce the desired output in as few lines of code as possible. The puzzles start easy but quickly escalate in difficulty. Can you solve them all?

Codess Code Hunt Challenge begins on October 9th at 7pm EDT/ 4pm PDT, and lasts for 3 hours. Women from across the US and Canada are invited to participate! Get ready for upcoming interviews, conferences like Grace Hopper, and build your community within the field.

What is Code Hunt: Visit www.codehunt.com to practice your skills before the big event!

Code Hunt is an educational gaming platform for coding contests and practicing programming skills. Code Hunt is unique as an online coding platform in that each puzzle is presented with test cases only, no specification. Players have to first work out the pattern and then code the answer. Code Hunt has been used by over 100,000 players.

The winner of the Codess Challenge is the student who produces the best possible answers in the shortest time.

The Challenge lasts just 3 hours, and the first 3 students to get the highest score will receive fantastic prizes:

  • 1st Place: Surface Pro 3
  • 2nd Place: Spectre x360
  • 3rd Place: XBOX One with Kinect

And the top twenty students will receive Skype Gift Cards, and certificates for their performance. Add that to your resume!
